Carol Slawyk Boyd

Lived in Milwaukee up until 1981 when my husband and I built our home in Farmington, outside of Kewaskum. Kids grew up there and after my husband passed in 2003, I stayed until 2008. Then I moved into a condo in Campbellsport to be closer to my daughter and my two grandchildren.

My daughter has worked at Washington County Clerk of Courts for over 20 years and my son was a graphic artist for 20 years until he almost died with blood clots and was let go by a large advertising firm in Chicago. He is now going to college to become a Veterinary Tech.

My granddaughter is going to college to become an art teacher and my grandson will graduate from high school next June.

As for me I have been retired since my husband had his malignant brain tumor. I shared his story in the previous reunion book but he lived 11 years after the doctors predicted that he would only live maybe at the most 2-4 years. Those years were all good quality of life years and when he passed at 11 years he was documented at Mayo clinic as they had never had anybody with his type of brain tumor that had lived that long. He was my miracle man.

I now enjoy my family and church. Keep myself busy. My life is good, and I am blessed
