I remember Don from Geometry I class; our teacher was Mr. Bilek. 2nd period or maybe 3rd. Don was a shy person . I never really got to know him well, and that makes me feel really traitorous But it was H.S. Mr. Bilek liked to pick on Don, mangling his name, and we all dutifully laughed , probably because many of us knew that our turn might easily be next. Mr. Bilek also liked to call on Don out of the blue. It was diffiult to keep quiet, to help Don with the answer or yell at Mr. Bilek. Fat chance. It was high school.I
I clicked on Don's name just to see if it was the boy I remembered from Geometry I. And the memories came flooding back. May he rest in peace and may his life have been fulfiling and happy. Memory eternal.
